When the audience’s laughter died down, the “Night School” star, 42, said her attorney is dealing with the ramifications. “And now I got a really great lawyer, and we’re going to work it out,” she explained. “I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better!”Peachtree City Police in Georgia told us on Jan. 14 that they arrested the “Girls Trip” star around 2:30 a.m. ET after she allegedly fell asleep at the wheel.
Cops had received a call that a driver was dozing off on the road, and Haddish’s vehicle matched the caller’s description. Police conducted their traffic stop for the “Night School” star’s vehicle as she was pulling into the yard of a residence, according to the department. She was subsequently transported to Fayette County Jail “without incident.”Despite the tough turn of events for Haddish, the arrest did not appear to ruin her night judging by her mugshot,In the photo, Haddish appeared cheerful as she flashed a huge smile for the officers.
