Mayor Vincent Arjay M. Mea reported his accomplishments in his first year as local chief executive during the State-of-the-Municipality Address in Tiaong, Quezon on Monday, July 24.

Mea said that tax collection increased as he implemented the Ease of Doing Business Act that made business registration and renewal of business permits faster.

He said that total taxable assessed value here also went up by 1,400 percent, from P7 million in 2022 to P109 million in 2023.“It is important to promote good and fair governance in our country. This includes transparency, accountability, and responsibility in what we do as public servants,” he said.

As neophyte local chief executive, Mea assured fair treatment of municipal programs on health, education, social services, infrastructure, livelihood, tourism, environment, non-government organization, agriculture, and peace and order to enable the people to feel the presence of the government attending to their basic necessities.
