BWF berkata, pemain badminton China bebas menyertai mana-mana kejohanan antarabangsa.
Persekutuan Badminton Dunia berkata, pemain badminton China bebas menyertai mana-mana acara dan pihaknya percaya tuan rumah akan memberikan bantuan penuh dan melayan atlet dari persatuan anggota dengan saksama. “Kita telah meminta semua MAs dan tuan rumah menghubungi pihak berkuasa kesihatan nasional bagi memaklumkan kehadiran pemain antarabangsa ke negara masing-masing dan mendapatkan nasihat mengenai langkah pencegahan serta tindakan yang perlu sekiranya berlaku insiden berkaitan jangkitan itu.
Disebabkan perubahan pantas, BWF bekerjasama rapat dengan pihak berkepentingan seperti Persatuan Badminton China , semua MAs serta tuan rumah kejohanan dan juga Jawatankuasa Olimpik Antarabangsa serta Jawatankuasa Paralimpik Antarabangsa bagi menyelaras langkah serantau dan global mengenainya.
