PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms are expected to envelop multiple regions across Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia until 6pm on Wednesday , says The Malaysian Meteorological Department .

According to MetMalaysia, six states in Peninsular Malaysia were expected to see thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds.Central states include Pahang , Selangor and Negeri Sembilan .Meanwhile the Sabah: West Coast , Tawau and Sandakan are expected to see similar stormy weather. Thunderstorm warnings are issued when there are early signs of a forecasted thunderstorm with rain intensity exceeding 20 mm/hour that were expected to occur close to or over an hour.
