Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 30 points Monday night as the Oklahoma City Thunder overcame a late rally from the Atlanta Hawks to get back in the win column.
With their court back to a typical hardwood and their jerseys back to the iconic bright blue it's been for years, the Oklahoma City Thunder prepared to host the Atlanta Hawks to get back above .500.
The two Hawks stars finished the game with 51 combined points. They found the bottom of the bucket throughout the game's entirety, and as a result, the Thunder only mustered a one-point lead after one quarter of play. Wallace once again showcased his top-tier defense, as he tallied four steals to go along with his six points. Together, he, Gilgeous-Alexander, Holmgren, Williams and Josh Giddey all got in on the action to give the Thunder a 19-point lead headed to the final period.A conglomeration of offense from Atlanta whittled away at Oklahoma City's lead. Murray, Young and even Bogdan Bogdanovic were a large part of that.
