MELAKA: Three teenage girls were among 11 people arrested by Melaka police for their suspected involvement in scams.

Melaka police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Zainol Samah said all the suspects were arrested during a raid on a house in Taman Cheng Perdana here on Thursday .

"They have been active for the past month, offering non-existent loans to local victims," he said on Friday . He said police conducted the raid after a man lodged a report at Batang Tiga here on Thursday that he was robbed and assaulted by a group of teenagers.
