Three men with criminal records were apprehended by police in Lenggeng, Malaysia, after attempting to evade a routine check. The suspects were found in possession of tools and drug paraphernalia.

Three individuals with criminal records were apprehended by police after attempting to evade a routine check in Lenggeng early this morning. Around 4:30 am, police officers from the Nilai District Police Headquarters (IPD) were conducting crime prevention patrols in the Jalan Tasik Senangin 6 area in Lenggeng, Nilai, when they noticed a suspicious car. Police officers ordered the car, carrying three men, to stop on the roadside for inspection.

However, the suspects sped off, covering about two kilometers, before being successfully apprehended in front of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (T) Ladang Lenggeng, Nilai. Initial investigations revealed that the three detainees are in their 30s and each have various past convictions involving criminal and drug offenses. A car, three wire cutters, two knives, a screwdriver, a pair of pliers, two metal bars, a lock pick, and drug paraphernalia were seized during the arrest. Urine tests conducted on the suspects revealed positive results for methamphetamine. Consequently, the case is being investigated under Section 188 of the Penal Code, Section 6(1) of the Explosives Substances Act 1958, Section 29(1) of the Minor Offences Act 1955, and Section 12(3) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. An application for remand under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code was made against all suspects at the Seremban Court today and was granted, allowing them to be detained for four days, starting today until Sunday
