PETALING JAYA: Three men were detained for producing and trafficking ketum water in the district.

In the first case, acting on a tip-off, police raided a double-storey terrace house in Taman Medan around 3.30pm on Sunday .

"The 352,500ml of ketum water worth around RM4,700 could have supplied 1,880 people," he told a press conference on Monday . In the second case, police raided another house in Section 17 here at 10.30pm the same day and detained two men aged 24 and 26."We also seized several bottles of cough syrup. We believe the suspects are mixing the cough syrup with the ketum water," ACP Nik Ezanee said.
