The accused attackers waited peacefully by the side of the road after the alleged attack and were arrested.
Three men have allegedly been horrifically bashed by a group of strangers in a broad daylight ambush in south-east Melbourne.
Four men, two from inside the car and two more on foot, approached the trio and began allegedly assaulting them, as seen on CCTV.Police said one of the accused attackers was armed with a metal pole. "You watch action movies and see fights and stuff but seeing that in real life, just right in front of your house, yeah it's a bit shocking for me," he told 9News.Two of the victims were taken to hospital while the third was treated at the scene. The group are currently all out on bail and will return to court in November.
