Operatives of Kaduna Police Command have arrested three internet fraudsters notorious for defrauding unsuspecting students of Kaduna State University (KASU) of their tuition fees. The suspects compromised the students' registration portal and took advantage of students who chose to pay their fees online.
Operatives of Kaduna Police Command have arrested three internet fraudsters notorious for defrauding unsuspecting students of Kaduna State University (KASU) of their tuition fees . Spokesperson for the command, ASP Mansir Hassan, in a statement yesterday, identified the suspects as Muhammad Uthman Busari of Nariya Kaduna, AbdulAzeez Hamza of Hayin Dan-mani Kaduna, and Noel Nims Audiya.
The suspects compromised the students' registration portal and took advantage of students who chose to pay their fees online. They collected full tuition fees from students but paid a lesser amount into the state's Treasury Single Account (TSA) and manipulated electronic transaction receipts
