Three children dead, nine-year-old critical and six others rescued after MPV skids into river in Lawas , says Sarawak Fire DeptKUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 — Three children lost their lives after a multipurpose vehicle skidded into a river at Kampung Awat-Awat in Lawas yesterday.
“Six victims were successfully rescued by the driver when the car skidded into the river, while three others were pulled out by members of the public,” Lawas Bomba chief Azman Ibrahim said in a statement.reported that the three children who died were identified as Mohamad Nazran Matasan, 10; Mohd Fayard Mohd Azmi, 5; and Eryna Akifa Imani Zukri, 8.
