McInnis has a sweet tooth and he's on a mission to share it with the world. He's the founder and curator of the Snackin' Shack in Everett, a one-car garage converted into a mini-museum, completely covered - all four walls, ceiling and floor - with a collection of hundreds of limited edition treats and marketing materials. "Good luck finding another one of these," he said, holding up a late-'90s beach towel featuring Keebler Elves."It all started with Oreos. It's the first thing I had," McInnis said."I love to have people check it out. That's really what it's here for in the long run. Anything edible I see at the store that's limited edition, I'm going for it. I'm grabbing it.
In fact, he loves Fruity Pebbles so much that he wears a hoodie with them printed on the back. And he hopes you'll find whatever you love here, too. "Anyone is welcome," McInnis said."Snacks are forever. Everybody eats snacks. It's going to last forever for me, for sure. I'll never stop collecting snacks."
The Snackin' Shack is open most Sundays after October 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It's located at 2916 Hoyt Ave in Everett.
