This C7 Corvette ejected its whole engine in a highway crash.
Witnesses say the Chevy sports car was possibly racing with another Corvette at the time of the crash, which also damaged two vehicles, including a Ford Edge. OnScene TV reports the driver of the C7 suffered minor injuries and was able to walk away from the incident.
Video from the scene shows a mostly stripped monocoque of what used to be the Corvette in question, missing most of its components beyond the firewall, along with at least three wheels. The engine was found alone, several steps away from the car.over the phone the Corvette driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Police also confirmed that no one aside from the driver suffered injuries.
