John Schmitzer, director of Canberra business Heating and Cooling Services, has criticised the government's announcement to phase out wood heaters by 2045.
"They've said they're going to phase out wood heaters by 2045 — no one has an answer on how they're doing that.""I know that all people are going to hear is 'wood heaters banned in the ACT', not that it's 22 years away," he said."I'd like to know what they've based their decisions on, the figures they've used," he said.
