Comic-Con attendees looking to cool off and enjoy some special food or drinks have several options in the Gaslamp Quarter just across from the San Diego Convention Center.This underground speakeasy in the Gaslamp Quarter will be serving three Star Wars Jedi-inspired cocktails during the convention: Use the Force Luke!, There is Another Skywalker ... and the Crazy Old Ben. They’re $16 each.
Locations in both the Gaslamp Quarter and Seaport Village will be selling two Super Mario-themed cream cheeses — Donkey Kong’s banana cream cheese and Mario Pizza Party — to accompany its fresh-baked bagels. 500 Market St. and 813 W. Harbor Drive, Unit C, San Diego. Hours vary, but mostly 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.This Gaslamp Quarter Greek restaurant has three Star Wars-themed cocktails priced at $16: Darth Revan Cooler, Grey Jedi Jungle Juice and Knights of the Old Republic.The Smoking Gun:
During the month of July this restaurant-arcade is serving a specialty cocktail themed to a 1978-era video game. The Space Invaders is made with tequila, Lillet apertif, passionfruit liqueur and cold-pressed lime juice.Barleymash: Servers and bartenders at this Gaslamp Quarter restaurant-bar will be dressed as anime villains and heroes. Bento boxes priced from $22 to $24 will be served all weekend. 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.
