If anyone knows beauty, it’s QVC and HSN. A good segment can make or break a brand. Just think of Jamie Kern Lima, the founder of It Cosmetics. One 10-minute segment propelled the founder to mogul-dom, and in 2016, when she sold the brand to L’Oréal to the tune of $1.2 billion in cash, she became a multi-millionaire after bagging groceries just a few years prior.

To find the next Joy or Jamie, the networks launched “The Big Find” to find that next billion-dollar brand. They received 654 entries from 43 U.S. states and 12 other countries from as far away as South Africa, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Monaco, and India. After hearing pitches from hundreds of finalists, the duo has landed on 73 entrepreneurial brands to introduce their products to millions of consumers in their networks.
