The Philippines' defence chief said China used 'aggressive and illegal force' to disrupt a resupply mission in the South China Sea and said last week's maritime incident, which injured a sailor, was neither a misunderstanding nor an accident.

KUALA LUMPUR : A former SRC International Sdn Bhd director told the High Court here Monday that there was a lot of criminality and forgery in the management of the company.

Datuk Suboh Md Yassin, 73, also said the company's former chief executive officer Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil, who is currently at large, lied to the board of directors about the repatriation of SRC funds from overseas. He said this when queried by Datuk Seri Najib Razak's counsel Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah as a third-party respondent in SRC’s US$1.18bil civil suit against the former prime minister and Nik Faisal.

It also seeks a court declaration holding Najib responsible for the company's losses due to his breach of duties and trust, and for Najib to repay RM42mil in losses the company incurred. – BernamaJohor MB moots talent council to help create highly-skilled workforceSg Bakap polls: Community connections matter more than academic credentials, says Perikatan candidate
