Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan (Warisan) Supreme Council Member Chen Ket Chuin @ KC said there should be a specific revenue-sharing arrangement between Sabah and Kibing Group concerning the sale of solar panels made from high quality glass produced using Sabah’s sand.
He said while Kibing Group’s RM3 billion investment was significant, revenue sharing concerns need attention to ensure Sabah generates maximum benefits from solar panel industry profits, if there is a factory in Sabah. “Otherwise, the glass produced in Sabah is sent to China with no income for the State,” he said in a statement.
