The world’s top models lead an emotional tribute to Virgil Abloh at OffWht
Leading the model charge was close friend Naomi Campbell, who also walked in the creative director’sin January. Fellow supers Amber Valletta and Helena Christensen waved the flag for the old guard who have seen the changes Abloh implemented come into effect, while the designer’s new-age model squad, including the Hadid sisters, Kendall Jenner, and Adut Akech were out in full force to represent the revolutionary creative.
Other surprise guests included Serena Williams, while Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss, and Candice Swanepoel lent their seasons of experience to the finale dedicated to truly extra eveningwear with Abloh’s signature knowing twist. Karen Elson did an excellent job flouting the smoking ban, while Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber waved the flag for fashion as a family business.
