Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The Walking Dead travels overseas in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which sees Norman Reedus’ fan-favorite character up against new walkers, new human factions, and even a language barrier. The six-episode series takes place shortly after the finale of the flagship series but succeeds in large part thanks to the bold new direction it takes the franchise.
Anne, it looks like your character, Genet, is doing a lot more than just surviving; it looks like she has a mission and a goal. Without giving stuff away, can you say anything about what she's after and who she is? Romain Levi: I loved it. As an actor, I don't like so much to judge my character. I really did my best to understand this guy and to understand what happened in his life to bring him to this kind of situation. For Codron, in his opinion, he’s at war, and when you are at war you can't act like it's regular life. I worked a lot on the background of this character to understand him, to understand what he was going through, and I loved it. I love this character so much.
To tell you the truth, I only saw the first two seasons of The Walking Dead, so I'm looking forward to watching this one with the audience, because everybody's talking about this. It’s so famous and so popular, so I'm looking forward to having the reaction of the fans. They’re not going to be disappointed because it's a top-notch season. Daryl Dixon in France.
Louis Puech Scigliuzzi: I didn't; I was relaxed about it. I knew if I got into this thing, and really did it one hundred percent, it would have to happen. I spoke with Norman and Greg Nicotero: “How do I deal with it?” They helped me a lot. Romain Levi: I loved it; I really loved it. The first scene I did was this big fight with Norman—the very first scene—and I loved it. One of the things that I felt, as Louie said before, was the kindness of Norman. He was always asking me if my head was okay, or if my neck was fine because he punched me a lot. To feel a tightness like that… I really couldn't dream of a better way to start the show. I’ve done physical scenes before; I really like that.
