The UberIPO will make a trio of winners even richer
The Uber IPO’s biggest winners won’t be ringing the opening bell. But they’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.
But no matter. Uber’s founders — whether exiled from the festivities or not — are the individuals reaping the biggest payouts from the company's $8.1 billion IPO, which values the company at an estimated $82 billion. New hire Khrosrowshahi has to make do with mere millions.$5.4 billion estimated net worth.
Still, Kalanick remains a board member and will walk away with the biggest payday in the Uber IPO. Combined with his previous sales, real estate assets and investment in his new company, City Storage Systems, estimates Kalanick’s net worth to be $5.4 billion. He also still controls 6.7% of the company. A spokesperson for Kalanick declined to comment.Camp was the one to originally conceive of the concept of UberCab and pull together its first pitch deck.
