According to a report by Taskrabbit, 26% of respondents say they have been directly inspired to change the interior of their home after watching a movie or television show.
Whether in fashion, in music or even on our screens, TV shows can occupy a large place in our day-to-day lives, so much so that they are even influencing interior design choices in our houses and apartments.
More than a third are inspired by what they see in the media when it comes to make design changes in their home. And it is especially the famous purple apartment door that seduces fans the most. On TikTok, the #FriendsDoor hashtag, which has more than three million views, features DIY videos showing how to paint and decorate your door like the one in the iconic series., starring Sarah Jessica Parker, informs interior design choices for 31% of those polled, according to the survey.
