“There is this traffic pipeline, especially for Black inner-city kids, who don’t make it out of high school, don’t graduate —,” Williams told me. This youth, who celebrated his 18th birthday a couple of weeks ago, said he is determined to flip that script.. After a recent call with his father that Williams described as “heartfelt,” he said “my family has assured me we will figure it out.”to kids like him a long time ago.
