The Queen has pulled out of several events over recent months
The public must start assuming that the Queen will not attend events unless it has been confirmed on the day, insiders have claimed.
Speaking to The Mail on Sunday, a source said: “The assumption must now be that the Queen will not be present at events. Throughout her 70 year reign, which is set to be celebrated with a series of events in June, the majority of the Queen’s engagements have been planned months in advance. Having announced the news just days before the event was due to take place, Prince Charles and Camilla were forced to step in and take the Queen’s place.
