After leaving her home in Lebanon for a better future, a mother-of-three has been killed at a home in Sydney's south. 9News
It's believed she came to a Bexley home late yesterday to pick up her kids - who weren't there - but police allege her ex-partner Ahmad Hodroj was.
Emergency services were called to the Bexley home just before 6pm and treated Moughnieh for critical injuries.Hodroj was arrested at the home and has since been charged with murder.READ MORE:Moughnieh's cousin in Lebanon said she had separated from her husband a year ago."She was just trying to start an independent life as a single mother on her own," the cousin, Karim, told 9News.
"Whatever's happened is not very nice. We are a pretty quiet neighbourhood here and you don't expect something to happen on your doorstep like this," neighbour John said. Moughnieh's colleagues and friends at her workplace Muslim Care in Bankstown have been offered counselling as they grieve her death.
