Tiger Woods’ quest for a fifth Masters title will begin just after 11 a.m. ET on Thursday morning, alongside Spain’s Jon Rahm and China’s Haotong Li.
“I feel like I can win,” the 43-year-old said on Tuesday, as per Golf Channel. “I’ve proven that I can do it. I put myself there with a chance to win the last two major championships of the year last year. I was right there and just needed to have a couple more things to go my way and not throw away a couple shots here and there, which I was able to do at East Lake.
The trio are followed 11 minutes later by five-time major winner Phil Mickelson, world number one golfer Justin Rose and Justin Thomas. The final group of the day, meanwhile, includes 2015 Masters winner Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka and England’s Paul Casey. “My expectations are high this week,” Spieth told PGA.com. “I feel great about the state of my game right now. I feel like my recent results aren’t a tell of where my game is actually at.
