The Mandalorian executive producers Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau react to a theory that ties Grogu's destiny to the Darksaber. Din Djarin defeated Moff Gideon at the end of season 2, claiming the Darksaber as his prize, much to Bo-Katan's chagrin. Bo-Katan had been searching for the Darksaber, hoping to use it to reunite the scattered survivors of Mandalora and take back their planet after the fall of the Empire.
