Free Range Games has announced the official The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria release date for the upcoming survival game.
What is the Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria release date?
The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will release digitally for PlayStation 5 and PC via the Epic Game Store on Tuesday, October 24, then on Xbox Series X|S in early 2024, making it a timed exclusive. A physical PS5 version will release on Tuesday, December 5.game has players create their own dwarf, who they play as during their journey into the mines or Moria as they seek to restore the former Dwarven kingdom to its previous glory.
“The story of The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria takes players beyond the books and into the Fourth Age of Middle-earth, the fantastical world created by J.R.R. Tolkien,” reads the game’s synopsis. “Summoned to the Misty Mountains by Lord Gimli Lockbearer, players take control of a company of Dwarves tasked to reclaim the lost spoils from the Dwarven homeland of Moria — known as Khazad-dûm or Dwarrowdelf — in the depths below their very feet.
“Their quest will require fortitude and teamwork, delving deep into the Mines of Moria to recover its treasures and in the hopes of one day restoring them to their former glory.”
