Star Wars has revealed the cover for The High Republic Phase III's first novel, The Eye of Darkness, featuring Marchion Ro on a throne.
The cover for the next Star Wars: The High Republic novel has officially been revealed, with the series' villain Marchion Ro putting crime lord Boba Fett to shame. Absent in Phase II as the narrative took a step back 150 years in time, Ro is the leader of the space marauder group known as the Nihil, responsible for orchestrating a number of atrocities. When Ro returns in the debut novel of Phase III, he'll be Public Enemy No. 1 for the Jedi and Republic.
Star Wars revealed the cover art for Star Wars: The High Republic: The Eye of Darkness by George Mann, the first novel to kick off Phase III. The galaxy is divided. Following the shocking destruction of Starlight Beacon, the Nihil establish an impenetrable barrier called the Stormwall around part of the Outer Rim, where Marchion Ro rules and his followers wreak havoc at his every whim. Jedi trapped behind enemy lines, including Avar Kriss, must fight to help the worlds being pillaged by the Nihil while staying one step ahead of the marauders and their Nameless terrors.
