LOC PIALA DUNIA FIBA 2023JAKARTA, KOMPAS - The public's enthusiasm for the 2023 FIBA World Cup is expected to continue to increase in order to further liven up the event. After the presence of several star players, intriguing matches, and the grandeur of the Indonesia Arena, the latest attraction in the form of fan zones has been installed to realize that hope.
"The first day tickets have already been sold out 100%. For the overall tickets, it has almost reached 60%. This means that the people's enthusiasm is really high because they want to see the players, good matches, and the magnificent Indonesia Arena stadium," said Deputy Director and Commercial of the World Cup LOC, Adrian Ares, before opening the fan zone at Senayan Park, Jakarta, on Wednesday .
In the fan zone which was open until the completion of the World Cup in Indonesia, 3 September 2023, various games were provided to entertain the public. Ticket booths and World Cup merchandise are also available. There is also a big screen that will show matches that take place in other World Cup hosting countries, namely the Philippines and Japan.
"In Indonesia Arena, there is a match and only ten minutes away, there is excitement in the fan zone. Everyone can participate in enlivening and at the same time successfully hosting the FIBA World Cup for the first time in Indonesia," said Adrian."Canada national team, Kelly Olynyk, trained at the Indonesia Arena Stadium, Tuesday , in preparation for the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
