The Burial is a film based on a true story that’s currently streaming on Amazon. The story is based on a story written by Jonathan Harr in the New Yorker in 1991. The Burial tells the story of Jerry O’Keefe, a funeral homeowner in Mississippi who owns multiple funeral homes. Jerry decides he wants to retire after decades in the business, and he strikes a handshake deal with a funeral home chain president to buy his funeral homes.
