Admitting his earlier offer from the Broncos “wasn’t where I wanted it”, Herbie Farnworth has declared he has no regrets about taking up a chance with the Dolphins.

Outgoing Broncos centre Herbie Farnworth has declared he harbours no regrets about his decision to leave the club at season’s end, as he prepares to join the Dolphins ranks with a premiership ring around his finger.

Despite his form earning him World Cup selection for England, the emergence of rookie Deine Mariner and the breakout year for Jesse Arthars led to a Dolphins poaching raid of Farnworth - who signed a three-year deal in March. “The Dolphins were the best fit for me and I’m pretty keen to join them next year and work under Wayne [Bennett].

Those efforts from the backfield has had a flow-on effect to the rest of the team, laying a strong foundation for the forward pack to march down field before the kicking game of halfback Adam Reynolds takes over.
