Proveye uses artificial intelligence to understand image data and is examining opportunities available in multiple markets
Proveye, a Dublin-based start-up, is targeting expansion into Europe and North America over the next year. The business uses artificial intelligence to understand image data in the agriculture sector.
Proveye is based in NovaUCD and currently has six staff. It was founded by O’Connell and Nick Holden in 2022, and has raised funding of €1 million to date. That’s about as broad a range as one can imagine in terms of data coverage but the business has opted to focus on grassland as its key area to start out with.
The business has been supported by Enterprise Ireland and O’Connell said that the agency had proven a significant aid to Proveye.
