The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences in Los Angels will host screenings of the nominated films before stars hit the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre on March 12.
While movie stars prepare for the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, movie fans can start making plans to head over toas the venue hosts a week of short film screenings prior to the awards ceremony.
The Academy’s Oscar Week events start March 8 inside the museum’s David Geffen Theater and will consist of film screenings of all nominated shorts, as well as panel discussions with nominatedin the animated feature film, animated short film, documentary feature film, documentary short film, international feature film and live action short film categories. The events will also feature nominees in the makeup and hairstyling categories as well. Nominees are expected to be announced on Tuesday, Jan.
On March 12, the Museum will host its second annual Oscars Night at the Museum from 3-10 p.m. Tickets for the Oscar Night at the Museum are $250 and go on sale Jan. 23 for contributor-level Museum members, Jan. 26 for museum members and Feb. 3 for the general public. All Oscar week films are included with a general admission ticket, which is $25 for adults, $19 for seniors and $15 for students. For more information, go to
