and it comes bearing great news for the worst person you know. Rather than having to get in and start the car in order to rev it, the Mustang's new"Remote Rev" feature will let you do it from a key fob.All owners have to do is hold a button on the key fob and the engine will spring to life, rev loudly, and wake up the entire apartment complex. It's sure to be a fun party trick, one that when used wisely can be innocent entertainment.
The good news is that said rev profile means you likely cannot hold the Mustang at high RPM for more than a second, so you won't hear these things bouncing off the rev limiter in underground garages. Still, the sheer number of instances where this can be used to annoy, prank, or confuse someone gives me pause. Used very occasionally in open spaces during the day, this is a nice little gimmick.
