Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 star Will Poulter, who plays Adam Warlock, admits he gets mistaken for a live-action character from Pixar's Toy Story.

Actor Will Poulter recently admitted he sometimes gets mistaken for a live-action Toy Story character. The English actor began his career with a strong start, scoring prominent roles in Son of Rambow and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Over the next decade and a half, Poulter featured in major projects in both film and television, including We're the Millers, The Maze Runner, The Revenant, Detroit, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, and Dopesick.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Speaking with GQ, Poulter revealed he has been mistaken for a live-action version of a Toy Story character. When asked if people recognize him as a major celebrity, the actor recalled a time when he was in the bathroom in Los Angeles, and someone asked if Poulter was Sid from Toy Story. Poulter had to remind the individual that the film was animated.

"A guy at a urinal in LA last week turned to me and said, And I was like, “Well, that was animated.” I don't want to be rude. I also appreciate there's a meme going round of me—I dressed up as Sid from Toy Story for anti-bullying week. So arguably I haven't helped my case. But [Toy Story came out in] 1995. I was two. And they weren't doing it through live action."

Will Sid Return To The Toy Story Franchise The 1995 animated movie, Toy Story, earned instant recognition as it made history as the first fully-animated feature film. Starring Tom Hanks as a pull-string cowboy doll Woody and Tim Allen as the latest Space Ranger action figure Buzz Lightyear, the Pixar movie was set in a world where toys would come to life.

In early February, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced Toy Story 5 is in development at Pixar, with Allen teasing his return with Hanks. Although audiences took to social media to question the film's necessity, the upcoming installment gives the franchise one more opportunity to give Sid a proper send-off. With Toy Story 5 likely years away, it will take some time before Sid can return one last time.
