Claims that Melbourne 'is back' has been blasted by a restaurant owner who has taken to social media to upload videos and photos of the reality on the ground.
A Melbourne restaurant owner has argued there is no reason to claim the city"is back" in a social media post documenting quiet CBD streets and empty shopfronts.
"I'm sick and tired of the bulls**t that our city is back. I walk this city just about every day and feel it's soul being sucked out of it," Mr Scidone said. Mr Scidone attributed the inactivity to offices not being back to full capacity post-pandemic as some workers continue to opt to work from home.
