Thanos is returning to threaten the Marvel Universe in a big bad way, with his upcoming limited series pitting him against an upgraded version of the Illuminati. The Mad Titan will return in force, bringing with him an arsenal of his most powerful weapons – including a classic piece of Thanos' lore, which the Marvel Cinematic Universe only hinted at: his weaponized throne.

MCU viewers might have seen the cinematic version of Thanos seated in a massive throne, but longtime Marvel readers will know that the screen version of Thanos' seat of power could have been much more dangerous.
