Thailand merekodkan pengurangan pelancong China antara 25 hingga 30 peratus
BANGKOK: Thailand seolah-olah ‘tidak meriah’ tanpa kehadiran pelancong China apabila bilangan pelancong dari negara itu hanya mencatatkan 25 hingga 30 peratus di Resort Laguna Phuket disebabkan pandemik Covid-19.
“Sehingga hari ini, kita tidak melakukan sebarang promosi atau pemasaran di China kerana kita tidak lagi merasakan ia adalah prospek utama,” katanya lapor Reuters. Apabila negara itu dibuka semula kepada pelancong luar, pakar dari Institut Penyelidikan Pelancongan China menjangka ia akan dilakukan secara beransur-ansur dan trend pelancongan ke negara luar oleh pelancong China tidak lagi sama.
“Kalau selama ini anda pernah menguruskan seramai 50 pelancong dalam sebuah bas pelancongan, kali ini anda hanya akan menguruskan kumpulan kecil sahaja,” ujarnya.Dalam pada itu, Shanghai Disneyland terpaksa menghentikan penerimaan pelancong sejak 1 November lalu kerana semua petugas taman tema dari 30 hingga 31 Oktober perlu menjalani ujian calitan Covid-19.
