PETALING JAYA: Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin's grandparents were arrested as the murder investigation throws yet another twist.

BANGKOK: Thailand ’s first bioluminescent snail that has a continuous glow won the title of “International Mollusc of the Year 2024” in an online public vote held in April.

Dr Athit Pholyotha, a biology researcher at Chulalongkorn University who was part of the team that discovered the snail last year, said that luminescence is rare in terrestrial snails. He said that unlike the Quantula striata, a terrestrial snail that can be found in Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Fiji and some islands in the Riau archipelago, Phuphania crossei can emit its greenish glow continuously.
