Vietnam News Agency reported the inaugural Malaysia Airlines flight, MH772, took off from Kuala Lumpur on Thursday , marking the start of five weekly services on the route with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a capacity of 297 passengers. She said that opening new direct flight routes is part of TAT's strategy to expand the quality tourist market by collaborating with airline networks, to position Thailand as a hub for Asean tourism.
