BANGKOK: Thailand on Friday (May 22) reported zero case of Covid-19 (coronavirus) but the government's Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) warned Thais to remain cautions as 'there are still infected people roaming undetected in the community,' said CCSA spokesman Taweesin Visanuyothin.

The spokesman also reported that from May 8 to 21,45 people tested positive for the disease, while 20 of them were infected in other countries and were quarantined on return to Thailand.Taweesin said out of the 25 who caught the virus locally, six tested positive from AFC testing.Total Covid-19 cases now stand at 3,037, while 2,910 had recovered and 71 patients remained at hospitals. There has been a total of 56 deaths.

Dr Taweesin explained the reason why the ThaiChana platform has to record location data for two months.
