A cafe in Thailand called Pum Kaprao Wat Jai is going viral for serving its food in unconventional containers, like watering cans and bird nests. Meanwhile, another cafe in Raub, Pahang, Malaysia, has been attracting attention for its unconventional sink featuring a fuel nozzle as the faucet.
In recent times, cafes have been popping up everywhere, each with its own unique decor . Some might even seem a bit peculiar, but they're undeniably effective in drawing in customers. Just like before, a video of a unique eatery in neighboring Thailand called Pum Kaprao Wat Jai went viral on social media. What makes this restaurant stand out is that they don't serve their food on the usual plates and bowls. Instead, they use random and sometimes bizarre items.
Imagine having your fried rice and egg omelette served in a cut-open flower watering can placed in the middle of the container. They even use bird's nests as serving dishes! Recently, a TikTok post (@kuromigoku) by a female customer named Ainul showcased the unique sink at a cafe she visited. Unlike typical sinks, this one features a fuel nozzle as its faucet. The video shows water flowing out of the red nozzle when a customer washes their hands. Ainul, in her caption, shared her confusion about how to properly use the unconventional sink, jokingly commenting, 'Five times I thought about how to wash my hands, the owner is so creative!'. Ainul also shared other videos highlighting the cafe's aesthetic interior. The videos reveal a collection of vintage decor scattered throughout the cafe, including old motorcycles, beverage cans, portraits of artists, antique radios and phones, and even a gas tank serving as a sink holder. She described it as a 'hidden classic cafe in Raub' with a vibe reminiscent of the golden era of Malaysian cinema. The cafe is known as Kedai Kopi Danish Lee, located in Raub, Pahang. Netizens in the comments section expressed their amusement and fascination with the fuel nozzle sink, with some even expressing a desire to visit just to try it out. There were also humorous remarks about the seemingly unorthodox choice, with some jokingly suggesting that the government should consider targeted fuel subsidies for such establishments.
