28, 2022, in Austin, Texas.AUSTIN – Courtney Ramey on Thursday announced he will declare for the 2022 NBA draft, though the Texas senior hasn’t ruled out a return to college. But with Ramey also submitting his name into the NCAA transfer portal, a reunion with the Longhorns appears doubtful.said Thursday in a statement.

“After careful consideration, I have decided to declare for the 2022 NBA Draft while maintaining my collegiate eligibility. I have also decided to enter the transfer portal in an effort to explore all of my options. Thank you Longhorn Nation!” The 6-foot-3 St. Louis native and two-time Missouri state champion started 20 of 35 games and helped Texas win the 2019 NIT as a freshman. From that point on he remained an entrenched starter under both coach Shaka Smart and Chris Beard.
