Corpus Christi's Zavala Elementary School held a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the mayor, county judge and school principal on Monday to celebrate a wellness room that will help educators decompress after dealing with a high-stress environment,The new space features multiple massage chairs, yoga mats and a private restroom.
"I hope it brings teachers time to relax and de-stress, and I hope it helps them feel better so they can continue to teach and work after long days," Principal Judith Hinojosa told the Caller Times.
