The campus at Connally Junior High School won't open until after Labor Day for deep sanitation.
Since the Texas Department of State Health Services started tracking data on Aug. 2 for the new school year, there have been 20,256 reported COVID-19 cases among students, per the“We are very heartbroken,” Bottelberghe said. “This is the second staff member that we have lost in a matter of a week due to COVID. It is very devastating as far as the students, the staff, and the community as a whole.
”Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting"It is very devastating as far as the students, the staff, and the community as a whole," Assistant Superintendent Jill Bottelberghe said.Schools are offering signing bonuses, childcare, and other incentives to attract and retain teachers as many quit over burnout or COVID-19 concerns.
