The Lone Star State has its own Stonehenge and an Eiffel Tower to bootA quick pit stop to catch a glimpse of a roadside attraction is a hallmark of any classic American road trip. While the skies above Marfa may be known for the area's"strange" lights, Texas has no shortage of curious sites along its highways and byways.
Beginning in 1973 in an effort to"create something beautiful for his wife," according to Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine, homeowner Rufino Loya carved and painted the elaborate designs seen throughout the property.
