AUSTIN – On Monday morning, Texas junior running back Bijan Robinson sat down inside a suite at Royal-Memorial Stadium, flashed his million-dollar smile and declared for the 2023 NFL draft.
He added: “I want to thank everybody. All the coaches, my teammates, people back home, my family, most importantly God for giving me the opportunity to keep growing here from a kid to a man. It’s definitely been a heck of a ride.” “Yeah, it was definitely a hard decision,” Robinson said. “Being a running back, it’s smart to keep the wheel on your body fresh when you do want to go to the NFL. I thought that this was just the perfect time to go and do that for sure. Robinson concluded his career at Texas ranked fourth in all-time rushing yards and 100-yard rushing games and ninth in total points .
