SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A police officer has been fired after he shot and wounded a 17-year-old male who was sitting in a vehicle eating a hamburger in a McDonald’s parking lot.
San Antonio Officer James Brennand has been fired in connection with the shooting of Erik Cantu, 17, on Oct. 2. Brennand had been on the San Antonio force for seven months and was still in his probationary period.
