Republican state Rep. Bryan Slaton said he plans to file legislation that would ban children from attending drag shows.he issued June 6, Slaton said drag shows are part of a"disturbing trend of perverted adults obsessed with sexualizing young children." Slaton's news release was in response to the videos of children attending a drag brunch in Dallas that popped up online. Slaton said in a
that his bill would "protect kids from these sickos," who"entice children to put dollar bills in the underwear of men dressed as women." He also referred to drag shows as"dangerous" and"disgusting."
